Evaluation of abstracts

Please contact us at contributions@congres-mcv.com for further information or technical problems.

Evaluation process

Abstracts are evaluated by the moderators of the chosen session, using a scoring grid on Conftool, according to the following criteria: relevance, innovation, R&D, quality and relevance to the session theme.

Results

Once all contributions have been evaluated, you'll receive an email confirming whether or not you've been integrated your contribution to the MCV 2026 program.

Some contributions intended for oral presentations may be retained as reserve presentations for a session.

Evaluators' comments will be available in your Conftool space.

Guide and important information

The submission process takes place on the ConfTool.
Please read the following instructions and information carefully.

Please contact us at contributions@congres-mcv.com for further information or technical problems.

Post an abstract on Conftool

  • Create your user profile on ConfTool
  • Go to «Your submissions»
  • Choose one of the 20 sessions classified into 4 themes defined by the committee
  • Choose the type of submission: "Oral presentation" or "Poster presentation" or both

Sessions

25 sessions had been pre-selected for 18 spots. We have exceptionally decided to organize 2 time slots with 4 parallel sessions instead of 3, which allows for a total of 20 sessions. This extension of the call for contributions is therefore based on these 20 sessions, confirmed for the MCV 2026 program.

The content of your abstract

  • Title of your contribution (prefer titles that aren't too long)
  • Author, designated presenter, organizations
  • A description of your contribution in English or French (maximum 1000 words)
  • A maximum of 5 keywords
  • Choice of 1 to 3 alternative sessions («Topics» on Conftool)
  • PDF version of your contribution

Evaluation process

At the end of the call for contributions, the sessions generating the most interest and receiving the greatest number of proposals will be selected, and the process of evaluating the contributions will then begin.

Abstracts are evaluated by the moderators of the chosen session, using a scoring grid on Conftool, according to the following criteria: relevance, innovation, R&D, quality and relevance to the session theme.

Q&A

The choice of alternative sessions enables us, if necessary - for example, when a session receives too few proposals and has to be cancelled - to reassign your presentation or poster to another relevant session, as far as possible and space permits.

The MCV Congresses are held in French, but contributions in English are also welcome.

The time allowed for an oral presentation depends on the number of presentations scheduled for the session (generally between 4 and 6). As a general rule, each presentation lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, including questions and answers.

If your entry is selected, you will receive a confirmation email. You will then be able to register as a participant. Further information on the next steps and the submission of the final version of your presentation or poster will be sent to you at a later date.

Yes, it is possible to change the person who will be presenting the contribution, even after selection, provided that you give us as much notice as possible so as not to disrupt the organization and program.

Yes, paid registration is compulsory for all participants, presenters and moderators.
